Rain that Refreshes the Earth Hex

OK...it's been dryer than Hades here this spring...and wild fires are burning UP Texas...so we decided to collectively do some Weather Magick, and a rain spell. In direct association I decided to create a Rain Hex, utilizing the techniques from my friends and fellow volk Swanhild Hexenfrau and her husband Der Waldzauberer, along with some inspiration from a Hex by Swanhild and Hexenmeister Lee Gandee, combining elements from two of their hexes: an Earth Star hex by Swan and Gandee's Rain that Refreshes the Soul...
What I came up with is a Hex that I call Rain that Refeshes the Earth...then I washed it with an infusion of herbs I blended into rain water which were as follows:
Yarrow,
one vanilla bean,
willow leaves,
rose petals,
spearmint...
from a HedgeWitch recipe...

Goetia Evocation Hex for Crystal Ball

OK...was doing some reading today...and discovered this obscure treaties on the Evocation of a Goetic spirit into a crystal ball, Johannes Trithemius: The art of drawing spirits into crystals with very elaborate details on the circle on in which the crystal sits...I took the instructions with some assistance from Pseudomonarchia Daemonum (Liber officiorum spirituum) and created a Hex on which to sit the crystal...I would like to do a full evocational ritual...and try and make a Goetic Spirit appear in the crystal...specially...Morax, an Earl, who is associated with Nelakhiel from the 72 angels [Scorpio] and with Tiphareth via the StarCircle...

Morax, alias Foraii, a great earle and a president, he is seene like a bull, and if he take unto him a mans face, he maketh men wonderfull cunning in astronomie, & in all the liberall sciences: he giveth good familiars and wise, knowing the power & vertue of hearbs and stones which are pretious, and ruleth thirtie six legions.

Goetia - S. L. MacGregor Mathers (1904) (quoted)
The Twenty-first Spirit is Marax. He is a Great Earl and President. He appeareth like a great Bull with a Man's face. His office is to make Men very knowing in Astronomy, and all other Liberal Sciences; also he can give good Familiars, and wise, knowing the virtues of Herbs and Stones which be precious. He governeth 30 Legions of Spirits, and his Seal is this, which must be made and worn as aforesaid, etc

New Healing Hexes

OK...working on the Healing process involved in Hexeri and Pow Wow...I have come up with a process.
Building on the Pow Wow chart of Astrological Healing energies from the old 'Human Illustration' passed among Hexenmeisters/Pow Wow people...
I build on the Base color-Elemental, FIRE-Red, AIR-Yellow, EARTH-Green/Brown or Black, WATER-Blue...
In the center of the Hex, I draw the Planetary Square, then the 3 angelick names around it, In ENGLISH, the Elemental Angel, the Planetary Angel, and the Astrological Angel.
then the Planetary energies, draw the sigils of the Planetary Angelick energies, & the Olympic Planetary Spirits, as well as the Elemental sign, the Planetary Sign & Seal, and the Astrological sign at the top. The Hex is then surrounded by two planetary series of sigils, one from the Grimoire Le Veritable Dragon Rouge, and the other from Key of Solomon...
The color scheme comes from the Picatrix, which is as follows:
ELEMENTS:
AIR-Yellow
FIRE-Red
WATER-Blue
EARTH-Green, Brown or Black

PLANETS:
Earth-Brown
Moon-Purple
Sun-Yellow
Venus-Green
Jupiter-Blue
Mars-Red
Saturn-Black
Mercury-Orange

ZODIAC
Aries-Red
Taurus-Green
Gemini-Yellow
Cancer-White/Silver
Leo-Orange/Gold
Virgo-Brown
Libra-Grey
Scorpio-Dark Red
Sagittarius-Purple
Capricorn-Black/Dark Brown
Aquarius-Turquoise
Pisces-Sea-Green

Cronnekdhu [Toadbone] and Blackthorn Wand

In the old alchemical writings, the black toad is one of the lesser used symbols for either the process of fermentation (ruled by Scorpio) or for the Prima Materia undergoing the same. The identity of the Prima Materia in alchemy is kept secret in all the old written texts. Generally, it is said to be a substance widely and cheaply available but everywhere despised. I’ve seen a woodcut of it represented as blocks of wood on the road that people are tripping over. Elias Ashmole describes it this way in his poem about alchemy called “Hunting the Greene Lyon”:
And choose what thou shalt finde of meanest price:
Leave sophisters, and following my advice,
Be not deluded; for the truth is one,
‘Tis not in many things, this is Our Stone:
At first appearing in a garb defiled,
And, to deal plainly, it is Saturn’s childe.
His price is meane, his venom very great
His constitution cold, devoid of heat.

Often this has been taken to be a description of lead (cheap, venomous, cold, dull (garb defiled), and definitely Saturn’s childe), but in some alchemical graphics, the Prima Materia is represented by a black toad–also considered venomous, also in a garb defiled (covered with warts), despised, cheap (free), and Saturn’s childe. You can see the toad at the “root” of this alchemical tree in the illustration. Perhaps one reason why the toad is connected with fermentation is because it develops from a fish creature (Water) to a land animal (Earth) with functioning limbs: toads are all about transformation, and transformation is an essential part of fermentation (turning, for instance, grapes into wine). Also, toads hibernate by burrowing down into the ground. They appear to be dead and can even freeze, but they awaken later, fine. Talk about a (literally) chthonic symbol.

So here is the riddle: Within its singular nature mind and matter are united, and it is both the beginning and the end of the work.

"LUCIFER,
The Bearer of Light!
¡Strange and mysterious name given to
Spirit of Darkness!
¡Lucifer, the Son of the morning!
He is who bears the Light, and its intolerable glares
blind Souls weak, sensual or selfish?
Do not hesitate, because Traditions are full of Revelations and Inspirations
divine inspiration and is not an age, or creed.
Plato and Philo also inspired."
