Begin the serious work with the N'Ganga/Spirit Cauldron's last night...11/6/11...
Did the 'washing' which included physcially washing the cauldrons in the 7 waters collected previously during Study Group...
Water from a running stream,
water from the Ocean,
St. John's water from New Orleans,
Well water,
Playa lake water,
Holy water from Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady of San Jaun del Valle-San Juan TX
Holy water from Wallfahrtskirch am Heiligenstein Gafkenz-Austria
After consecrating the sacred space by blowing smoke to the 4 quarters- Rocky Patel Edge Toro Madur cigar...and spewing Rum-[name of rum from Stacy] we washed the Cauldrons.
After washing them, we each blew smoke from the cigar in/on them, and then spewed Rum in/on them...
We recited the prayer for the N'Ganga [get from Stacy] and did One Our Father prayer:
Our Father, which art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done,
in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
[For thine is the kingdom,
the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.]
Amen.
followed by one Hail Mary prayer:
Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
then we did one Gloria prayer:
Glory to God in the highest, and peace to His people on earth. Lord God heavenly King, almighty God and Father, we worship you, we give you thanks, we praise you for your glory. Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, Lord God, Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world; have mercy on us; you are seated at the right hand of the Father; receive our prayer. For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen.
We repeated this process three times, Cigar, Rum, Our Father Pray, Hail Mary Prayer, and Glory Prayer.

Witch Blade
When the Moon is wanning, make an infusion in water taken from a running river, mixed with the Martial Herbs:
Blackthorn leaves
Pepper
Ginger Root
Dragon's Blood resin
Sulphur
Holly
Ash
Hickory
Nettles
Wolfsbane
Into this mix a few drops of your own blood.
Exorcise the blade with water from your cup and incense mixed with the Martial herbs:
4 parts myrrh
1 part dried powered yew or juniper
1 part dried elderberry
1 part dried cyprus
1 part patchouli oil
1 pinch of magnestized iron fillings or lodestone dust or oil
burned in your thurible;
then proceed to heat the blade of the knife in your thurible coals until it glows. When the blade is glowing, plunge it into your waiting brew, chanting these words, and visualizing the knife glowing with power after each immersion:
"Blade of steel I conjure thee
to ban such thing as named by me
As my word, so more it be!"
This process of tempering, or forging as it is called, should be repeated three [3] times.
Having accomplished this, you must magnetize the blade by stroking it repeatedly with a lodestone. Holding the blade in your left hand, and the lodestone in the other, beginning at the handle end of the blade, draw the lodestone down the whole length to the very point. Keep this up for a good five minutes, always stroking in the same direction, chanting these words at each stroke:
"Blade of Steel, I conjure thee
attract all things named by me!
As my words, so mote it be!"
Finally, you must bury the blade for three [3] days and three [3] nights in the EARTH, point down. At the end of this time, dig up the blade.
Lift the blade above you, and direct it towards the moon and shout:
"Blessed be thou Blade of Arte!"

WitchBlood
WitchBlood
'neath the Dark Moon we kneel
By lantern light we dig.
The Grave pulled away-rich scented earth-from bone
These underworld creatures scurry
From hot flesh-leaving a feast of cold bone.
We are careful, in this place that is no place
This spot that has transported us all
To another place and time,
where we are alone
with the energies of the Underworld.
We open the entrance to the Mound
Earth's dark womb
As she births Death
tugging forth the skull
It is brittle and some teeth fall out,
But the Underworld has done its job.
Flesh cleaned from bone, dirt from the mound
Darkness holding greedily to the white.
We set it atop the Pentacle, the Hex
Cut the sigils of the 4 Daemon Kings of the Quarters
In the night air with hoofed blade.
It is brisk and our breaths mingle
With the smell of sulfur from the incense
Choking us with the secrets of the Pit…
We set the black candle between the horns
Careful to light it with fresh match
And sit, patiently in the circle of light.
We watch as the flame dances-gently against the night,
No wind to distinguish the flame,
an oddity in the West Texas night.
The shadow at the base of the candle reaches
Long and dark towards first one of us,
And then the next, the Shadows grown fingers
Pointing at each of us in turn
with expectation.With obligation.
We are one with the Mound.
We are one with the Night.
We are WitchBlood…
'neath the Dark Moon we kneel
By lantern light we dig.

Palo N'ganga or Spirit Cauldron
Here is some reference material in regards to the Spirit Cauldrons or Palo N'ganga's...I really feel a strong inclination towards this 'tool/vessel' in regards to Magick...and will continue to work and document my efforts in this area...
I do prefer to call them 'officially' "Spirit Cauldron', since we are modifying significantly elements of the traditional Palo N'Ganga...
"I was intrigued with the whole idea of the nganga, the spirit pot, seeing this as the genuine witch's cauldron". introduction * iii
"The term nkisi refers to the manifestation in the Spirit pot" pg 13
The nkisi was a particular form of medicine, a holy medicine that both encapsulated a part of the divine, but was truly a livign, divinely-endowed talisman. This was a god made by man, who was enabled to create by virture of man being extensions of Nzambi on earth, thus creators by right. The nkisi was empowered by bilongo, the magical or active part of inspired nature, such as herbs, animals and minerals. The bilongo was placed at the heart of the figure and animated. This would then constitute the soul-heart of the nkisi...
The nkisi, when endowed with the powers of bilongo, would then possess a number of powers and functions.
The nkisi is a wooden figure or an object filled with bilongo and animated by nature, the knowledge of its maker, the Nganga and Nzambi. The nkisi gives a materiality to the invisible power..."
Bilongo: A gathering of magical and powerful medicine that activates nkisi or a working. Also used in the sense of 'making a work'.
Nganga: The Spirit Pot, the body of the nfumbe as it turns into nkisi.
Nkisi-The soul of the Nganga.
Nfume-Chief of ritual.
Nzmabi- The fiery creator, Entity of Flux & Fire...referring to the creative impulse, often understood to be remote from human activities...
